And these are my daughters — Molly (5) and Rosie (2). Like most parents, bedtime stories are a big deal in our house. The only problem? We'd read every book on the shelf so many times that both girls could recite them word for word. We needed something new.

We'd tried a few of those personalised books — the ones where you enter a name and a couple of details and the child magically appears in the story. Molly and Rosie absolutely loved seeing their names in print. But the novelty wore off quickly. The stories felt templated. The characters didn't really look like them, act like them, or live anything like their lives. And the illustrations? Generic children who happened to share a name.

I kept thinking: what if a book could actually know them?

I work in software, so I started tinkering. What began as a late-night project to make something special for my girls turned into Pillow & Page — a way to create stories that are genuinely, deeply personal. Stories built around your child's personality, the things they love, and the people in their life. With illustrations that actually look like them.

Every story is generated completely free — always. Because every child deserves a story made just for them. But if you want to go one step further, we can print and deliver it as a beautiful keepsake book — the kind that gets proudly pulled off the shelf at bedtime for weeks to come. That bit's optional, but in our experience, holding the real thing makes it feel truly theirs.
